A carpet printed on corrugated cardboard, as a gift to people of the Muslim religion. A practical object but full of symbolic meanings. Foldable and useful, facing Mecca, for the five daily prayers called ṣalāt. The video and photographic action is carried out during the midday prayer, Salāt al-ẓuhr. Islamic precepts require that it be carried out when no vertical object generates a shadow on the carpet.
